Since the establishment of Scientific and Productive Centre of Non-Destructive Testing ECHOPLUS, special attention has been paid to ultrasound control methods that provide visualization of images of defects and measurement of their sizes. Diffraction methods, due to their high sensitivity and high accuracy, in many cases make it possible to solve the problem of detecting, classifying and determining the parameters of defects. An overview of the capabilities of the equipment and software developed by the ECHOPLUS in order to implement the TOFD technology is given.
