In October, specialists of the Leningrad Metal Factory were trained to control the welded joints of rotors with a scanner on magnetic wheels using one of the methods of the ECHOPLUS. During the training, an automatic ultrasonic inspection of the first 600 mm of the welded joint was carried out to search for longitudinal defects.
