To equalize spatial sensitivity, it is proposed to use the inverse CFA method, which takes into account not only the delay times of the arrival of echo signals, but also the distortion of their amplitude and phase due to refraction and reflection at the boundary of the control object. This approach makes it possible, without special sensitivity equalization procedures, to restore images of lateral cylindrical holes so that the amplitudes of their indications vary within ± 2 dB in the operating range of antenna array angles.
